| Notes: |
| The July 1843 Chess Player's Chronicle (v.4, pp.208-209) gives two wins by von Jaenisch over Petrov, the latter giving odds of Pawn and Two Moves, during von Jaenisch's recent visit to Warsaw, with a note that 'from the comparatively easy manner in which the first player won, he [von Jaenisch] infers that his opponent could not continue to give him such large odds.' I therefore take the 2-0 result as representative, and include it. |
