William Greenwood Walker says that George Walker won 10 of the last 14 games played against McDonnell, receiving odds of Pawn and Two Moves, and that at the time of McDonnell's death, they had started playing at Pawn and Move odds. McDonnell died in Sept. 1835, so I take this result to belong to the year 1835. According to Sergeant the result was +10-1=3 for Walker. |
