Notes:
Still playing in 1861, when he was in a simultaneous exhibition by Kolisch in Leeds. Murray (British Chess Magazine, May 1906, p.190) identifies the player named 'Z.A.' in the Chess Player's Chronicle of 1845 (pp.66-69, 130-132, 196-198) as George Walker. This identification was made in the Chess Player's Chronicle in June 1879 (p.217).
