Sunnucks has +3-0=0 for Harrwitz; all other sources have +3-0=2. Feenstra Kuiper, Sunnucks, Di Felice, Spinrad and La Grande Storia degli Scacchi give date as 1846; the Chess Player's Chronicle (3rd series, vol.1, May 1859, p.132) gives the date as 1847, but the result is also found in the 1846 volume (v.7, p.265). Sergeant says this match came after the 1852 and 1853 matches between the same opponents, but this seems just to be a misreading of the Chess Player's Chronicle. |
