Gilberg copies the results from Fiske, but claims that the number of draws was unknown, while Fiske says there were 4. Feenstra Kuiper, Di Felice and Spinrad all give the score as +11-7=4. Staunton says in the Chess Player's Chronicle (1846, v.7, p.157) that, following this match, a return match had begun. |
