| Di Felice and Zavatarelli give +3-2 for Medley; Spinrad (from Schach Datenbank) gives 9-6, as does La Grande Storia degli Scacchi; Staunton, in the Illustrated London News (29 June 1850, p.459) and in the Chess Player's Chronicle (v.11, 1850, p.206) gives +7-4=4. Staunton in the Illustrated London News of Sat. 23 Feb. 1850 (p.131), says the match started 'on Tuesday last', which might mean 19 Feb. or possibly 12 Feb. 1850. |
