| Shakmatniy Listok (Jan. 1861, p.5), says that Kolisch had a record of +2-5 against Saburov before (or besides) their official match, but does not indicate when or at what odds. The 22 July 1860 issue of the Era (p.6) says that in additional games played between them after the match, Kolisch only won 1 to Saburov's 4, still at Knight odds, as shown by the game given in the 5 Aug. 1860 issue (p.14). Zavatarelli gives the score as 5-2 for Saburov, and says that these games took place after the formal match. |
