| This result (+60-3=3 for Harrwitz) is reported by an unnamed correspondent, who one suspects might be Harrwitz himself. I will assume it is accurate, though it comes among a series of statements designed to laud Harrwitz. The report says that the games took place during a visit by Schulten to Paris 'some weeks ago'. I will guess that they ended in May 1859. |
