| The report in the Chess Player's Magazine of June 1866 says that Lowenthal 'won three games; the others were drawn'. The number of draws is not specified, but was clearly more than one, so I will guess at a score of +3-0=3 for Lowenthal, as a reasonable approximation. The games were played when Owen visited London 'recently', so I will guess that they took place in May 1866. |
