| The New Orleans Sunday Delta of 4 Mar. 1860 gives a result of +2-2 and says that these games were played on a 'recent' visit of Paulsen to Chicago. However, Renette gives Paulsen's later correction of this, from the 15 Mar. 1860 Chicago Sunday Leader, saying that they played three games with score +1-1=1 in Jan. 1859 (as well as some earlier games in 1857, recorded separately here). |
