| Feenstra Kuiper has 'E. Meyer' here and Di Felice has 'Meyer, Eugen'. Both give the location as 'Mannheim'. However, the 1935 Deutsche Schachzeitung (p.202) has 'Dr. Meyer' and gives the location as Stadtprozelten. Alan McGowan (personal communication) says that Stadtprozelten was the home town of Dr. Christian Hermann Meyer, which casts doubt on the information from Feenstra Kuiper (and Di Felice). I will tentatively accept McGowan's suggestion that this was Dr. C.H. Meyer, rather than Dr. E. Meyer. |
