End date: 1858

Notes:
Di Felice gives +3-2 for Morphy. A letter by Edge dated 30 Aug. 1858 gives +3-0 for Morphy, also given by Edge in 'Exploits' (p.200), by Bell's Life in London (29 Aug. 1858, p.5), by the Chess Monthly (June 1859, p.198) and by Spinrad. Taylor Kingston mentions a game given by Shibut won by Medley but at Pawn and Move odds. Another 'win' by Medley may be spurious.
