| Di Felice and Spinrad give result as 2-1 for Bellotti, but La Rivista degli Scacchi (July 1859, p.111) and La Grande Storia degli Scacchi suggest that the result was in the ratio 2-1 for Bellotti. In Eco della Scienza, dell'Industria e del Commercio (1864), Dubois says that the difference was 3 to 1 for Bellotti. Di Felice gives the location as Italy, but all of Bellotti's other events listed at La Grande Storia degli Scacchi took place in Rome, so that seems the best guess for this match. |
