| In Chess in Philadelphia, Reichhelm says this game took place in 1866, but in the 5 Jan. 1866 issue of the Phildelphia Daily Evening Bulletin, it is stated that his visit to Harrisburg took place on the 26th of Dec., and was 'prolonged to the end of the week', which I take to be Sunday, 31 Dec. 1865. |
