Event data
Place: Philadelphia
Start date: 28 May 1867
End date: 3 June 1867

Notes:
Hilbert, Di Felice, Nick Pope, van Winsen and La Grande Storia degli Scacchi give +7-0=2 for Mackenzie, as do the Schachzeitung of 1 Aug. 1867 (p.246), the New York Tribune of 5 June 1867, the Philadelphia Daily Evening Bulletin of 7 June 1867, the Albion of 8 June 1867, the Georgia Weekly Telegraph of 14 June 1867, and the New York Clipper of 15 June 1867; Reichhelm and Feenstra Kuiper give +7-0=1 for Mackenzie; The Chess World of July 1867 (vol.3, p.137) gives +5-2=1 for Mackenzie. Nick Pope and van Winsen give all 9 games, so I presume +7-0=2 is correct. Nick Pope and van Winsen also give dates for each game.
