The Neue Berliner Schachzeitung of May 1868 (p.160) gives +11-4=1 for Anderssen in serious games. All my secondary sources have +8-3=1 for Anderssen. The Neue Berliner Schachzeitung of Nov. 1868 (p.326) has the 12th game of the match, dated 16 Apr. 1868, but there may have been more. |
