| The 15 Jan. 1876 issue of the Toronto Globe says it was a match of 5 games and gives the deciding game. The other 4 games are given in the 13 Nov. and 27 Nov. 1875 issues. From the dates of the reports I presume the match was started in Nov. 1875 and finished in Jan. 1876. |
