| Feenstra Kuiper and Di Felice give a result of +5-2=2 for Judd over Hodges in 1887; Spinrad gives the same result but in 1888; McCormick and Soltis (quoted by Spinrad) give a result of 5-2 in 1887; Hilbert makes it clear that the unfinished 1887 match went +3-2=1 for Hodges, but that the 1888 match went +5-2=0 for Judd, which is at least closer to the result given by Feenstra Kuiper, Di Felice and Spinrad. |
