Rowland gives 7-6 on p.10 of Pollock Memories, but mentions the draw on p.114. The Brooklyn Daily Eagle of 9 July 1890 (p.4) gives +7-3=1 for Pollock. Feenstra Kuiper and Di Felice give location as New York; Hilbert and Lahde, the Brookly Daily Eagle of 9 July 1890 and the British Chess Magazine of Aug. 1891 give Cincinatti. Rowland (p.10) gives the year as 1891. |
