The Brooklyn Daily Eagle of 20 Oct. 1895 (p.5) gives the score as 7-4 for Showalter and gives the year as 1890. Hilbert and Lahde also give the result as 7-4 for Showalter and dates as Dec. 1891 to Jan. 1892. |
