Biographical data |
Name: Szpiro, Abram |
Born: 1912 |
Died: 16 Feb. 1943 |
|
Notes: |
Gaige has 'Szpiro' at Łódź 1930; Di Felice has 'Szapiro, Marek', but he was born in 1917 and would have been no more than 13 years old at the time of that tournament. More likely, it was Abram Szpiro (or Abraham Szpiro), who played for Łódź in the Polish Team Championship of 1934. Gaige gives date of birth as 1910 and date of death as 'c1941'; Jahr gives date of birth as 1912, and date of death as 16-02-1943. Olimpbase gives his first name as 'Abraham'. |
