Notes: |
Gaige in Chess Tournament Crosstables lists 'M. Balázs' at Budapest 1905 and 1906, but only 'Balázs' at Györ 1906, Budapest 1907, and Györ 1911, and lists only 'Balázs, Ernö' in Chess Personalia (apart from József Balázs, who was born in 1908). Di Felice has 'Balasz, Erno' at all 5 of these Hungarian events. The Wiender Schachzeitung of Mar.-Apr. 1907 (p.89) lists 'Balázs Mór' at Budapest 1906. I will guess that it was Mór Balázs at all of these events. |
