Biographical data
Name: Vančura, Josef
Also known as: Dr. J. Vančura; Prof. J. Vančura; J. Klíma
Born: 21 Feb. 1870
Died: 26 May 1930

Notes:
Gaige, in Chess Personalia has 'Jan Vančura', but Siegfried Hornecker in an article at ChessBase makes it clear that this was Josef Vančura, senior. Gaige has 'Vandas' at Prague 1909, while Di Felice has 'Vančura, J.'. Are they the same?
