Was the player named 'Schofield' at Bradford 1886 R.B. Schofield, of Wakefield (active in the 1840s), Joshua Schofield of Huddersfield (active in the 1860s and 1870s), F. Schofield, of Leeds (active in the 1900s), or Schofield of Hull (active in the 1840s)? Another possibility is that it was William Ryder Scholefield, who according to Steve Mann was often misnamed 'Schofield', and who moved to Wakefield in 1883.
