| Gaige and Di Felice give only the crosstable, but the Schachzeitung of Sep. 1871 (p.262) says that Camphausen and von Dobrowsky had to break the tie and that Camphausen won first prize, so I assume a 1-0 win for Camphausen over von Dobrowsky. Di Felice gives date Aug. 15, 1871. La Grande Storia degli Scacchi gives dates Aug. 18-20, 1871 for the Section I tournament. The Schachzeitung (p.260) says that play started on the Saturday morning (19 Aug. 1871). |
