Notes: |
This was a 14-player single-round all-play-all tournament, but W.F. Reed withdrew before completing his games. Shipley had already beaten him, but as it is not clear who played Reed and who did not, I do not count this win in Shipley's score here. After Reed's scores were discounted, Shipley ended up in a 3-way tie for first with Bampton and Mlotkowski. Hilbert gives draws by Shipley against both Bampton and Mlotkowski in the play-off, and says the Bampton eventually won, so I am guessing that Bampton must have beaten Mlotkowski. |
