| Hilbert gives only the information that Sanderson beat Henderson in a play-off to win the Championship. Not having the exact score of the play-off, I will take it as a soft score of 1-0. Walter Chan sent me references to two other games from the tournament (appearing in the Canadian Illustrated News, and one of them in the Toronto Globe), a win by J. Henderson over W.T. Taylor, and a loss by J. Henderson to I. Ryall, but I can't use just two selected games for rating, because they may not be representative of overall scores. |
