All 8 players are named in the report in the Era, but it is not clear who played who, except for the final between Fanning and Gillam. It is also not stated how many games were played between each pair, so I am assuming only one. I am guessing that the 'Gillam' who played here was J.F. Gillam, and not W. Gillam, who was president of the club in 1857. |
