Notes: |
Gaige's crosstable has '0?' for both players in the games Stephan-Wegemund and Krenzysky-Wegemund; Di Felice shows these two games as unplayed. Gaige also tentatively identifies the player 'Krensyski' as 'S. Krenzyski of Lund, Sweden?'. Di Felice has 'Krenzysky, Simon'. Deutsches Wochenschach (1920, p.50) says that 'Krenzisky' was the Swedish champion. Deutsches Wochenschach also says that there were originally 12 players, including Schories, Schweinburg and Ahues, but not including Zander or Wegemund. Some players must have dropped out and others brought in. |
