| Di Felice gives dates 10-17 Aug. 1920 for the Preliminary sections as well as the Final or Secondary sections, but the preliminary sections were played earlier. Information sent to me by Michael Kühl from the Yorkshire Post of 5 Apr. 1920 shows W.J. Walford played in the first round instead of Hilliar, Hilliar replacing Walford after that game. The Yorkshire Post of 6 Apr. 1920 gives the first round results and has 'W.J. Wargood' instead of 'W.J. Walford', in error. |
