Event table notes

Event data
Name: 17th Kent County Chess Association Congress - Final Section B
Place: Bromley
Start date: 8 Aug. 1920
End date: 10 Aug. 1920

Notes:
Gaige's and Di Felice's crosstables disagree on the crosstable. Both show Euwe and Sergeant with a total score of 4, but Di Felice shows Sergeant drawing Bigelow and beating Holmes, and Euwe beating Bigelow and drawing Holmes, while Gaige shows the opposite. Di Felice seems to be correct. Di Felice gives dates 10-17 Aug. 1920, but the account in the British Chess Magazine makes it clear that these Final or Secondary sections were played after the Preliminary sections (which were 5-7 Aug. 1920) and finished on 10 Aug. 1920. The Yorkshire Post of 12 Apr. 1920 also says that the final games were played on Saturday (10 Aug. 1920).
