Event data
Name: New York Chess Club Championship
Place: New York
Start date: Mar. 1855
End date: May 1855

Notes:
In the first round, Winsen's article at the Chess Archaeology website gives the result +3-1=0 for Pindar against A. Perrin, but in Mackenzie, Mason and Co., Vol.V (p.116) he gives +3-0=1 for Pindar. In the final against Möhle, Thompson gave odds of Pawn and Two Moves and Pawn and Move alternately, but van Winsen gives two of the three games, both at Pawn and Two Moves, so presumably only the one remaining game was played at Pawn and Move odds.
