| The Leeds Mercury of 24 Apr. 1886 (p.7) says that the final between Coldwell and Walker was not yet finished. The British Chess Magazine of May 1886 (p.209) says that Coldwell beat Walker. It is not clear whether they scored a draw before Coldwell won, or when the final game was finished. |
