Event table notes

Event data
Name: Bristol - Bath Club Match
Place: Bristol
Start date: 11 Feb. 1865
End date: 11 Feb. 1865

Notes:
Many of the players on each side played multiple opponents on the other side. No draws are mentioned --- either none occurred, or they are not reported. The reports in both the Era of 19 Feb. 1865 (p.4) and the Chess Player's Magazine of Apr. 1865 (p.95) are confusing, in that the list of pairings of players with scores has Horner at the bottom of the Bath list with a score of 1 but unpaired against a Bristol player. The Bristol list is one row shorter. Because the list is arranged with all the pairings of a given Bristol player together, I will guess that Horner's last pairing was with Boorne, the last player listed on the Bristol side.
