Notes: |
Only partial results available. The report in the Chess Player's Magazine gives scores for all 21 players, but many players did not play all their games and odds classes are not specified. I have given only scores for the five players who completed all their games and for whom we can guess at their odds classes based on previous events (though this is risky, because a player's odds class can change over time, of course). There was a play-off between E. Cockayne, Shaw and A. Davy, which E. Cockayne won, Shaw coming second, so there must have been a win by E. Cockayne over Shaw, included here. I am guessing that it was played even since these two players were likely both in class III. |
