Notes: |
This was a single-round 8-player all-play-all tournament. It was not finished on schedule on 17 Apr. 1922: Barker, Yates, Young and Millar all missed one game; Gonnason missed 2, and Ewing and Stark played their final game on the way home to Vancouver. I will guess that Gonnason did not playe Young or Yates, and that Millar did not play Barker, though there are 5 other possible combinations. The Victoria Daily Colonist of 18 Apr. 1922 (p.11) lists the numbers of wins, draws and losses of each player up to 17 Apr. and mentions that C.T. Eraut withdrew because of illness and lost his games by default. I do not include his results here for rating purposes. Di Felice, Stephen Wright, and the B.C. Chess Federation website mistakenly give Barker a score of 4 instead of 3 (including his default win against Eraut, he scored +2-2=2). |
