| Brodie's crosstable has some inconsistencies. One way to resolve them is to suppose that S.B. Wilson lost to Falconer (it is indicated by Brodie as a win for Falconer but as a draw for S.B. Wilson). This appears to be what Di Felice has done. However, the scores for each player given in La Patrie then do not match. An alternative is to suppose that S.B. Wilson drew with Falconer, but that Lamothe lost to Falconer. Then the total scores align with those in La Patrie. We will make this latter assumption. |
