| Gaige and Di Felice give the location as Forst in der Lausitz. McGowan points out that this was an error. The event took place in Berlin in 1923 and Forst in der Lausitz in 1924. It is not clear whether it was 'Dr. Laboschin' or his brother 'Laboschin' who played at this event. I guess at the latter, but on no stronger evidence than omission of the title 'Dr.'. Gaige has 'F. [E.?] Post' in this event, and Di Felice identifies him as 'Post, Alfred M. Ehrhardt'. The Brandenburg Schachzeitung of 1924 (p.4) has 'F. Post'. |
