| This information comes from an article by Peter Anderberg in the journal 'Caissa'. This was a 16-player knockout tournament. We have only the results of one of the semi-finals (Harrwitz-Steinitz) and the final (Hamppe-Harrwitz). The final is not included here because, by agreement, they used the last two games of their match (2-0 for Hamppe) to count for the result of the final in this tournament, and I record those games there. |
