Notes: |
Gaige calls this the '13th Schleswig Chess Union Congress' but this is a misreading for 'Schlesien', the German name of Silesia. Di Felice corrects the name to '13th Silesian Chess Federation'. Di Felice has 'Bergmann, Otto Wladislau Albert' and 'Kraemer, Adolf' at this event. The Deutsche Schachblätter (1926, p.431) has 'Bergmann-Carolath', which is Walter Bergmann. Ralf Binnewirtz, in the Quarterly for Chess History, clarifies that it was Adolf Kramer of Wroclaw here, not Adolf Kraemer, the German problematist. |
