Event data |
Name: Marshall Club - Staten Island Club Match |
Place: New York |
Start date: 8 Feb. 1930 |
End date: 8 Feb. 1930 |
|
Notes: |
The game J.W. Brunnemer - C.D. Franz was adjourned, and was to be played out the following Saturday, 15 Feb. 1930. The Brooklyn Daily Eagle of 20 Feb. 1930, however, gives the Marshall Club's total score so far after playing both the Staten Island and Philidor Clubs as 13.5-1.5, the total of 15 games suggesting that one was still unplayed, and in the 27 Feb. 1930 issue, the Staten Island team still had a total of 1.5 points with 1 game adjourned. The game may never have been played out. |
