| There was a dispute over the result of the game Kendrick-W.S. Waterman, but Waterman eventually conceded. The report in the San Francisco Chronicle of 24 Mar. 1902 gets some of the names wrong. In particular, it has both 'C.W. Waterman' and 'C.W. Waterman, Sr.' playing for Los Angeles, when it should be W.S. Waterman and C.W. Waterman, respectively. There was also a consultation game B. Marshall and others of San Francisco against A. Greenwood and others of Los Angeles, not rated here, of course. |
