Name: All-Union Candidate Masters Tournament - Group 2 |
Place: Moscow |
Start date: 1940 |
End date: 1940 |
|
Notes: |
Di Felice has 'Poliak, Evgeny Filippovich' here, but Popovsky has 'Poliak A.' I assume the latter is correct. Popovsky has 'Yudovich M.(jr)' here, but he was only born in 1932, so it seems much more likely that it was Mikhail Mikhailovich Yudovich, sr., as given by Di Felice. Di Felice gives the location as Kalinin. Popovsky gives the location as Moscow. |
