Name: Sachsen Federation Tournament |
Place: Annaberg |
Start date: 11 Apr. 1941 |
End date: 15 Apr. 1941 |

Notes: |
Each player played 7 games, according to the crosstable given by Di Felice (from the Deutsche Schachzeitung), so probably it was either a Swiss-style event or it was suspended before completion. I am guessing at the identities of some of the players, for whom only surnames are given by Di Felice: Ludwig Röss, Ernst Zimmer, Erich Barth, and R. Hering. On the other hand, Di Felice has 'Schaefer, Norman' here, but he was American and unlikely to be in Germany in 1941. The Deutsche Schachzeitung has Dr. Schäfer, probably Dr. Manfred Schäfer. |
