We are only told the four prize-winners in the two Nebenturnier events at Cologne, but we can deduce from the knock-out format of the Hauptturnier, and therefore likely of these events, that the player who came first beat the player who came second in the final round, while the player who came third beat the player who came fourth to decide those prizes. Assuming that the ordering of listing of prize-winners of the two events is consistent, with the prize winners of the first event listed before those of the second event, then in the first event, Tendering was first, Levy second, Wemmers third and Emil Asbeck fourth. |
