Event data |
Name: Ostrava Championship |
Place: Moravska Ostrava |
Start date: 1942 |
End date: 1942 |
|
Notes: |
It is not clear how this result is related to the result in České Slovo of Mar. 1942, which includes Měkota, but excludes Dušek, Kolb, and Zivny, and gives scores of 9 players out of a maximum possible score of 8. The partial result in the Feb. 1942 issue of České Slovo is entirely consistent with the 11-player tournament listed here, with the same 11 players, but both are referred to as the second stage of the qualifying process for the UJCS Congress in Pilsen, which also served as the championship of Ostrava. |
