| The American Chess Bulletin of Mar. 1920 (p.47) says regarding the game Black-Babbitt that 'In the unfinished game Black claimed a draw because of repetition of position.' However, the Brooklyn Standard Union of 14 Mar. 1920 (p.20) says that Shipley, as referee, did not agree and Helms, as adjudicator, declared it a win for Babbitt. |
