Notes: |
According to Gaige and to the Tidschrift van den Nederlandschen Schaakbond of 1 Aug. 1900 (p.178), Meiners received one handicap point; Loman received none; all other players received two handicap points. Di Felice shows Meiners as receiving 2 handicap points, but this is inconsistent with his total score of 7.5 for Meiners. Here, as usual, I only count results of games played over the board. Speet forfeited to Oskam, Loman, Deelmann, and Colpa. Gaige, Di Felice, and the Tidschrift van den Nederlandschen Schaakbond indicate that Oskam beat A. van Rhijn in a play-off but do not give a play-off score. I assume it to be 1-0 as the simplest possibility. |
