| De Saint-Amant says in the 15 June 1844 issue of Le Palamède that Delannoy had been in London for five weeks, and according to Delannoy's own account in the 15 Dec. 1845 issue of Le Palamède, Daniels was his first opponent in London, so I guess that these games were played in May. |
