Biographical data
Name: Daniels (1)
Born: 1812
Died: Nov. 1844

Notes:
His death is reported in the Dec. 1844 issue of the Chess Player's Chronicle, which I believe was normally published on the first of the month, so I am guessing that Daniels died in Nov. 1844. Le Palamède says that he was 32 years old, which means he was probably born in 1812 (or at the very end of 1811). The 6 Mar. 1847 issue of the Chess Player's Chronicle (p.76) states in error that Daniels died 'at the latter end of the year 1845'.
